Creating a Page

1. To create a new page, use the New button at the top right corner of this page. Choose a Template for your new page by using the dropdown button, depending on what type of page you are creating.

   

2. You will either use the icon 🔒 for private pages or 📖 for public pages.

   Icons

   📖  = Public

   🔒 = Private

1. By default, child pages in the Engineering wiki are shared. Until you are ready to publish, toggle off the ‘Share to web’ in the Share menu

1. Make the page full width by clicking the top 3 dots in the top corner of the page and toggle full width on

1. As you author an article, fill out the All pages view in the database at the top of this page:

• Add the Tags for the Database
  • Mark the status (Not started, In Progress, In Review, Published)
  • The tag (Capture, Store, Verify, or General) for the category/ side navigation
  • Mark whether this is 📖 Public or 🔒 Private
  • Place it in the correct section by specifying the Parent
